Maintenance Assistant

  • full time, year round, hourly employee
  • paid time off
  • some weekends will be required, flexible workdays
  • average 40 hours per week
  • grounds keeping
  • custodial and sanitation
  • assist in repair of buildings, facilities, and equipment
  • assist in care of farm animals - feed, water, general well being
  • position requires basic math and reading skills


Program Assistant*

  • part time, year round, hourly employee
  • average 32 hours per week, Noon - 8 pm Sept - March
  • evenings and some weekends will be required
  • must obtain food handlers certification for outdoor cooking with students
  • assists program director with:
    • developing and administering programs and staff training
    • planning and working special events
    • document processing, file maintenance
    • scheduling school clients
    • scheduling program staff
    • managing and scheduling night staff
    • acting as instructor in field providing program to clients


Program Instructor 

  • part time/seasonal hourly employee, some weekends will be required through out the year based on client needs
  • schedule will be as needed based on client needs, primary season September - May
  • Residential program - 2 shifts (September - February)
    • 8:30 am - 2:00 pm
    • 1:00 pm - 8:00 pm
  • Day program
    • 8:30 am - 12:30 pm farm tours
    • 8:30 am - 2:30 pm field labs/adventure challenge
  • deliver innovative, hands-on, outdoor education programs to client schools
    • teambuilding
    • field science investigations
  • sincere interest in teaching and sharing knowledge and skills with students
  • exhibit characteristics of leadership, responsibility, and dependability


Program Cabin Assistant (Night Owl)

  • part time/seasonal shift employee
  • primary season September - February/Early March
  • schedule will be as needed based on client needs
  • usually 2 nights a week, 12 hour shifts 7 pm - 7 am
  • assist visiting school's personnel with evening program and routines


*Office and program assistant position may be combined for the right candidate. Must be a self starter, computer literate, and be willing to learn new skills to further the organizational mission. Must love working with children and being outdoors.
