In Kind
Most of the buildings and other improvements at Camp Tyler were built with donated materials and donated labor. Contributions of things other than money are considered in kind. Such donations are tax deductible as described in the Internal Revenue Code Section 170.
If you have something that you think we could make good use of please call Bryan Rayburn at (903) 565-4475. If we feel there is a fit, we will be happy to come after it and provide you with the appropriate documentation for your tax records.
Because storage space at the camp is limited, we cannot accept everything that is offered. If you offer something that we know we cannot use we will try to suggest another nonprofit in the community that can use it. Our policies will not allow us to accept potentially hazardous materials including paints, solvents, pesticides and herbicides.
